It has been used for consulting and desgin. It has solidwork 2006 and Surfcam 2005 installed. you can launch Surfcam within SW envirnment. these programs are very powerful and still can handle today's engineering task. I have been using Solidwork for last 10 years. In term of functions, '06 version is very stable and work very 90% close the '11 version.
it can generate 3D models, surface models and Drawing. The eDrawing version is a very usefriendly way share design with non solidwrok user. Save the models as .IGES or STEP and transprot it to Surfcam to create G-codes for cnc. This surfcam version has multi axis functionality.
The computer is very fast with SWork and surfcam. it needs a internet driver. you can download one form Dell site.
